“Let her rejoice who gave birth...”  (Proverbs 23:25)

The Bible gives us many reasons to rejoice because the LORD is so faithful.  Birth is one of those reasons.  In ministry I have the privilege of seeing the expressed joy of a new mother holding her new born baby.  There is no glow like that glow.  This morning will be one of those occasions as we have a mother preparing to deliverer as I write this.  I will be on my way as soon as I hit the “SEND” button.  Please pray for this new mom as she delivers today.

I cannot close without rejoicing over the second birth.  Lourie and I had the joy of speaking with a lady last night who was gloriously born-again in our worship service this past Sunday.  She too was aglow as we visited with her.  She kept speaking about how new everything was and the joy of her heart that had been emptied of sin and filled of the Savior.  Oh the sweetness of salvation!  Rejoice in HIM who gives the second birth!

Today is September 26.  Rejoice in birth...the first AND the second!!
