“I will praise the name of God with song and magnify Him with thanksgiving.” (Psalm 69:30)

Are you looking forward to Thursday?  American calendars are marked for this special day - Thanksgiving Day.  Many plans have been made.  Perhaps you are planning for guests to arrive.  Much is to be done.  The house must be cleaned, food bought, food prepared, the kitchen cleaned again.  It may be that you are planning on traveling to the home of a family member.  The car must be ready and the gas tank filled.  It may simply be a relaxed day off work with a quiet meal with your immediate family and then kick back for some football.  Are you thankful for the opportunities you have planned.  Have you stopped to “praise the name of God with song and magnify Him with thanksgiving.”   I encourage you to not wait until Thursday to magnify the LORD with thanksgiving.  Pause this morning.  Praise this morning.  Magnify this morning.  Every day ought to be an offering of thanksgiving for our Great God!

Today is November 24.  Be verbally thankful today!!
